Lord, Aeck, and Sargent

Sometimes it's not necessary to build a new visual identity from the ground up. This was the case for the Atlanta-based architecture firm Lord, Aeck and Sargent. Using the studio's previous logo as a starting point—originally drawn by one of the firm’s partners—Scott tweaked the weight and proportion of the letterforms making the mark more noticeable at smaller sizes and greater distances. The new logo—with a revised visual system—was applied to the website, stationary, and marketing materials.
